T20 World Cup 2024 will start from June 2. The Indian team will start its campaign from June 5. The Indian team will leave for America in two phases for the tournament. In the first batch, those players whose team could not reach the playoffs in IPL 2024 will go with the coaching staff. Also the remaining players will go to the second batch. BCCI has confirmed this.

The first batch will leave on 24th May

The first batch of T20 World Cup 2024 will leave for America on May 24. At present, Mumbai Indians and Punjab Kings are out of IPL 2024. In such a situation, the players of these teams will be the first to leave for the World Cup. These players include Indian captain Rohit Sharma, vice-captain Hardik Pandya, Suryakumar Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah and Arshdeep Singh. Apart from this, players of other teams who are out of the playoff race will also go in the first batch. Players of the last 4 teams will leave for America in the second batch after the final on May 26.
