Yuzvendra Chahal has become the first bowler in IPL history to take 200 wickets. Chahal achieved this feat in the 152nd innings of his 153rd match. He took the wicket of Mohammad Nabi in the 7th over and made this record in his name.
Yuzvendra Chahal's career
Chahal started his IPL career in 2013. In which he got a chance to play only one match. In which he gave 34 runs. After this, he played 14 matches in 2014 in which he took 12 wickets. After this, Chahal's charm continued. He took 23 wickets in 2015, 21 in 2016, 14 in 2017, 12 in 2018, 18 in 2019 and 21 in 2020. After this, he left many legendary bowlers behind by taking 18 wickets in 2021, 27 wickets in 2022 and 21 wickets in the last season. He has taken 13 wickets in 8 matches played so far. His economy in IPL is 7.69 and average is 21.39.

Chahal remains in the race for Purple Cap. He has become the highest wicket taker in the 2022 season. He won the Purple Cap. The spinner also made important achievements in his domestic career. He took 34 wickets in the Under-19 Cooch Behar Trophy in 2009. He became the bowler taking the most wickets. Chahal now plays for Rajasthan Royals.
