The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has taken action after Kohli's no ball controversy. According to reports, Virat Kohli has been punished for arguing with the umpire. BCCI fined him 50% of his match fee. Kohli has been found guilty of violating the IPL code of conduct.

Dhoni was also punished
Let us tell you that former Chennai Super Kings captain MS Dhoni was given similar punishment five years ago. He was found guilty of violating the code of conduct by confronting the umpire. After which he was fined 50 percent of the match fee. However, CSK paid this fine on behalf of Dhoni. RCB can pay the match fee fine on behalf of Kohli.

In the match against Kolkata, when Harshit Rana came to bowl the over, Virat Kohli was batting on strike. He bowled a waist-high full toss, which was caught out by Kohli who went to defend. The ball was above the waist so Virat Kohli appealed for no ball. But the umpire gave out. After this Kohli took DRS and the third umpire also declared him out. Later Kohli was seen arguing with the on-field umpire. Even after the match, he was seen discussing the no ball with the umpire.
