BCCI has proposed to abolish the toss in the domestic competition of CK Nayudu Trophy. The visiting team will have the right to decide whether to bat or bowl. According to a series of proposals on domestic cricket submitted to the Apex Council for approval by secretary Jay Shah, there are plans to create adequate spacing between the games, which was demanded by several state team captains during the last season.

New point system will be implemented

This includes award points for batting and bowling performances in the first innings as well as points for first innings lead or complete victory.

The interval between Ranji matches will be increased
