8 players can be retained

With the introduction of this rule, all the strong teams like Mumbai Indians, Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals will retain their 8 lethal players in the Mega Auction 2025. On the other hand, not all weak teams have 8 players that they can retain. In such a situation, weaker teams will be forced to release their players.
