T20 WC 2024: Place of these players confirmed in the team, Rohit gave advice to BCCI
- T20 World Cup 2024 will start from June 2
- Will be played jointly in West Indies and America
- Team India for the World Cup may be announced on April 30.
BCCI is soon going to announce the team for T20 World Cup 2024. Before this big announcement, captain Rohit Sharma has given an important suggestion. Due to which the team's batting lineup can be strengthened. Now it remains to be seen whether BCCI accepts Rohit Sharma's suggestion or not.
What is Rohit Sharma's suggestion?
According to reports, Indian captain Rohit Sharma wants Virat Kohli to be included in India's 15-member squad for the T20 World Cup 2024. Kohli's inclusion also means that his experience and calm mind will be useful to the team.
These players will get place
The real challenge for Team India has started now. It is almost certain that the top four batsmen Rohit, Rahul, Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav will play. But strong players will have to be included in the team. If explosive batsmen like Shivam Dubey and Rinku Singh are to be kept in the team, then a tough decision will have to be taken. The team will have to field a reserve wicketkeeper or one of the reserve bowlers. In such a situation, bowling or wicketkeeping may be a little weak.
Fast bowling is also a matter of concern
Now talking about bowling, due to the injury of Mohammed Shami, the concern regarding fast bowling has increased. Who will take charge of the bowling along with Jasprit Bumrah is also a big challenge. However, Mahir Arshdeep Singh may get a chance to swing the new ball.
According to this, this could be the Indian team
Top order: Rohit Sharma (captain), Yashasvi Jaiswal, Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav
Middle and lower middle order: Sanju Samson (wicketkeeper), Rishabh Pant (wicketkeeper), Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel, Shivam Dubey, Rinku Singh.
Spinner: -Kuldeep Yadav
Fast bowler: Jasprit Bumrah, Arshdeep Singh, Avesh Khan/Mohammed Siraj
Other contenders: KL Rahul, Yuzvendra Chahal, Ravi Bishnoi, Sandeep Sharma
