The injury occurred during IPL
According to Andrew McDonald, the star player is expected to be fit till the T20 World Cup. Coach says Mitchell Marsh could be fit before Australia's first match However, Marsh is currently behind schedule for his return. Due to which Australia's concern has increased. Australia has to play its first World Cup match against Oman on 5 June. Marsh suffered a hamstring injury in the IPL. After this he had to leave IPL midway. After this he had to return to his country for rehabilitation.
Will have to stay away from bowling
These days Marsh is preparing at the National Cricket Centre. Recently he was seen batting in the nets. The coach said that he will have to stay away from bowling for about two weeks. However, his recovery is a little slower than expected. Australia's first match is after about a month. So he has plenty of time.
