The eliminator match is played between the teams ranked third and fourth in the points table. Bangalore qualified by finishing fourth, Sunrisers Hyderabad second and Rajasthan Royals third. The team ranked third will play the eliminator match against RCB.

A total of 31 matches have been played between RCB and Rajasthan Royals in the IPL, out of which Bengaluru has won 15 matches, while Rajasthan has managed to win only 13 matches. At the same time, a total of 25 matches have been played between RCB and Hyderabad in IPL. Out of which RCB has won only 11 matches while Hyderabad has won 13 matches. Hyderabad's equation in playoffs
Today's match will decide which team will qualify for the third place in the playoffs. Two matches are going to be held today on the occasion of Super Sunday. The first match will be played between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Punjab Kings at 3.30 pm. Hyderabad is currently in third place with 15 points after winning 7 out of 13 matches. If Hyderabad wins this match, then after winning 8 out of 14 matches, it will reach second place with 17 points and Rajasthan will slip from second place to third place.
Rajasthan's equation in playoff
The second match of Super Sunday will be played between Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Riders from 7.30 pm. At present Rajasthan is in second place with 16 points after winning 8 out of 13 matches. If Rajasthan wins this match then it will again reach second position with 18 points after winning 9 out of 14 matches. If Rajasthan wins today's match, it will not make any difference whether Hyderabad wins or loses and it will remain at second position. But even if Hyderabad wins today's match, it will have to wait for Rajasthan's defeat to reach second place.
