Mumbai Indians gave Arjun Tendulkar a chance to play in the match against Lucknow Super Giants. Arjun played his first match in IPL 2024, which was full of ups and downs for him. Where he was supposed to get a wicket in the very first over, but after review the TV umpire declared it wrong. The first two overs were tremendous for him, but in the third over he hit two sixes on the first two balls. However, due to injury, he went to the dressing room in the middle of the match.
Even Stoinis got a smile on his face
Arjun Tendulkar came to bowl the first over of his spell, the sixth ball of which was saved by Marcus Stoinis with a straight bat. The ball went back to Arjun, after which he threatened Stoinis in his eyes and also tried to scare him by making a gesture to hit the ball. Seeing this incident, a smile appeared on Stoinis' face also. The reaction on his face was quite shocking. The second ball of the same over hit the pad of Marcus Stoinis, on which the umpire raised his finger and declared the LSG batsman out. Arjun and the MI players started celebrating the wicket, but Stoinis realized that the ball had impacted well above the pad. When they took the review it was found that the ball was actually going over the stumps.

However, Arjun Tendulkar got a chance to bowl in only one match in IPL 2024, in which he gave 22 runs on 14 balls. Earlier in 2023, he got a chance to play 4 matches for Mumbai Indians. He took one wicket each against SRH, PBKS and Gujarat Titans in IPL 2023. In this he managed to take the wickets of Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Prabhsimran Singh and Wriddhiman Saha respectively. Arjun has been able to take only 3 wickets so far in his career.
