In the first qualifier of IPL 2024, the stormy batting lineup of Sunrisers Hyderabad could not stay on the crease even for 20 overs. Hyderabad scored 159 runs in 19.3 overs against Kolkata. In the 14th over, Sunrisers Hyderabad lost their sixth wicket in the form of Rahul Tripathi and then Hyderabad lost a total of 4 batsmen within 5 runs. By the 16th over, Hyderabad lost 9 wickets for 126 runs, but in the end, captain Cummins somehow took Hyderabad to 159 by scoring 30 runs in 24 balls, otherwise the team would have been all out by the 17th over.
