We took full advantage of every opportunity
Shreyas said- In this match, everyone played their role with responsibility. We stood up for each other. Whatever opportunity we got, we took full advantage of it. The way each bowler faced the opportunity was fantastic. The way they came and took wickets was very important. When there is variety in your bowling line-up, it is strong. Hopefully we will perform well in future as well.
Shreyas Iyer doesn't know how to speak Tamil
Recalling his conversation with Venkatesh Iyer, Shreyas said- The only difference between me and Venkatesh is that I do not speak Tamil, but I speak Tamil. He talks to me in Tamil, I reply in Hindi. Now I will enjoy this moment and prepare fully for the final. Both the players are from Tamil families, but both were born in different states. Shreyas was born in Mumbai and played for Maharashtra, while Venkatesh was born in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Both players are now seen playing for KKR. Iyer is a Tamil-speaking Brahmin.
