Rana had a stellar IPL season and played a key role in KKR winning their third title. The young Delhi fast bowler took 19 wickets in 13 matches. However, the incident that made headlines was a one-match ban.

Harshit Rana had to face the consequences of giving a flying kiss to Sunrisers Hyderabad batsman Mayank Agarwal. After this, he was fined. However, he came on the radar of BCCI. He was found guilty of a Level 1 offense under Section 2.5 of the IPL Code of Conduct. Rana was banned for one match.

Harshit explained

Harshit said, I was very sad after being banned for one match and then Shahrukh sir came to me and said don't worry, we will do this celebration with the trophy. The young fast bowler also performed incredibly in the IPL final. He took two wickets for just 24 runs in four overs and also bowled a brilliant over, which was a big achievement in the final match.
