IPL Retention: LSG-SRH team retained 5 players and PBKS team retained 2 players
Ahead of the IPL 2025 mega auction, the players retained by all the team franchises have been announced today. In which all the teams have retained about 5 players in their team.
These three teams retained 12 players
10 IPL teams have announced the list of retained players and the team has spent crores of rupees for this. Meanwhile, Lucknow Super Giants, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Punjab Kings have also retained their players. LSG retained 5 players, SRH retained 5 players and PBKS retained 2 players.
LSG retained Nicholas Pooran for the highest amount of Rs 21 crore.
Lucknow Supergiants has not retained team captain KL Rahul. Nicholas Pooran has been retained at the highest price of Rs 21 crore. Ravi Bishnoi and Mayank Yadav have been retained for Rs 11 crore each. Then Mohsin Khan and Ayush Badhoni have been retained for Rs 4 crore each.
SRH paid Rs 14 crore each to Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head
Sunrisers Hyderabad has also spent heavily to retain its 5 players. The team has retained Heinrich Klaasen for Rs 23 crore. Then Pat Cummins has been given Rs 18 crore while Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head have been kept with the team for Rs 14 crore each. Nitish Kumar Reddy has also been retained for Rs 6 crore.
PBKS retained two players
Then the Punjab Kings team has retained only two players. In which the names of Shashank Singh and Prabhsimran Singh are included. The team has retained Shashank Singh for Rs 5.5 crore and Prabhsimran Singh for Rs 4 crore.
