The BCCI is monitoring the fitness of the star bowler as Team India will travel to England for the Test series in June after the IPL. In such a case, the BCCI team management and medical team would not want to take any hurry on Bumrah. Mumbai Indians are now waiting for the approval of the National Cricket Academy (NCA) medical team as NCA will first announce Bumrah. Only then will the star bowler be clear to join Mumbai.
Mumbai will face CSK in the first match
As you can tell, in IPL 2025, the Mumbai Indians team will launch their campaign against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on March 23 at Chennai's MA Chidambaram Stadium. After this, the team will have to face the Gujarat titles. The match will be played on March 29 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Mumbai Indians will play their third match against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), defending champion at their home ground Wankhed Stadium on 7 March. Bumrah away from the ground from January
Bumrah is recovering from a back injury on 4 January, the fifth and second day of the final test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Sydney.
