Playoff matches are being played in IPL 2024. After just 3 matches it will be decided who is the winning team of IPL 2024. The first qualifier match was played between Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad. This match was played at Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad, in which Kolkata Knight Riders won. Now today i.e. on 22nd May, the eliminator match will be played between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Rajasthan Royals. The team that wins this match will play Qualifier-2 against Hyderabad on 24th May.

Who is the star player?

Amid the playoff matches of IPL 2024, the tension of a player has increased. Before the playoffs, Sunil Narine and England player Phil Salt were opening for KKR, but in view of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024, all the England players including Phil Salt have left the IPL midway and returned to their country. For this reason, KKR included Afghanistan's star player Rahmanullah Gurbaz in their team as an opener. Rahmanullah played an innings of 23 runs in the qualifier match. Now KKR has high hopes from Gurbaz in the final match as well. But Gurbaz's difficulties have increased amid the playoffs.

The player's mother is unwell

Rahmanullah Gurbaz may have joined the team to play against KKR, but his mother is hospitalized. Gurbaz himself has given this information. He said that his mother's health has deteriorated. Gurbaz said that I got a message from the franchise that they need you in the team, so I agreed to return. My family is not only my mother but also KKR.
