IPL 2024: Shubman Gill's team lost the match, gave lessons to the players through gestures

The strong team of Gujarat Titans lost to Punjab Kings by 3 wickets at home. Punjab won the match with one ball remaining and it was all due to poor fielding by Gujarat Titans. After losing the match, captain Shubman Gill was upset with this and in the presentation after the match, he also showed the class of his players through gestures. Shubman Gill said that the team scored good runs but Gujarat Titans lost due to dropping catches.

Shubman Gill said, our team dropped catches, if you drop catches on a good pitch then you are sure to be in trouble. Shubham said that the target of 200 runs was good and the team was in the match till the 15th over but poor fielding proved costly. Gujarat Titans dropped a total of three catches in the match. In the slog overs, Umesh Yadav took an easy catch of Ashutosh Sharma and the same player made an important contribution to Punjab's victory by scoring 31 runs in 17 balls.

Rashid Khan and Omarzai also disappointed Gujarat Titans. Rashid gave 40 runs in 4 overs. Losing runs at the rate of 10 runs per over of the world's best T20 spinner proved costly for Gujarat. Along with this, Azmatullah Umarzai bowled very poorly in the slog overs and also gave a total of 41 runs. Mohit Sharma's fourth over also proved costly and he gave 18 runs on those 6 balls.
