The 63rd match of IPL 2024 has been canceled due to heavy rain in Ahmedabad. Rain has dashed the hopes of Gujarat Titans and the team is out of the race for the playoffs. Gujarat is the third team to be out of the playoff race in IPL. Before this, Mumbai Indians and Punjab Kings have also been out. Due to cancellation of the match, Kolkata and Gujarat got one point each. Gujarat needed two points to stay in the playoff equation, but now have one point after the match was cancelled. Gujarat currently has 11 points from 13 matches and the team's next match is against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Even if Gujarat team wins that match, the team will still be able to reach maximum 13 points.
