Steve Smith has shared a video on his official Twitter handle. In this video, he says ‘Namaste India, I have great news for you. That is I am coming in IPL 2023. It is absolutely correct that I am joining a team full of enthusiasm. However, in the meantime, he did not reveal the name of the team. According to the news, he will be seen doing commentary in IPL 2023.

The ODI series was won by Australia. He had great success leading the India tour as interim captain. He was successful in this, winning one Test and two ODIs. Australia won the ODI series 2-1 while he served as captain. India prevailed in the opening game held in Mumbai. While Australia won both the matches played in Visakhapatnam and Chennai and captured the series 2-1. This happened for the first time in four years when India lost the ODI series on its soil.
