Franchises will not spend Rs 100 crore in IPL, big update has come!
The IPL 2025 auction is expected to take place in November-December. A big update has come out before the mega auction. Till IPL 2024, only Rs 100 crore was included in the purse of all the franchises. But the purse of all the teams is going to increase before IPL 2025. According to the new update, now the franchisees may have an amount of Rs 120 to 125 crore in their purse.
Players' money may also increase
According to a report, BCCI can increase the money of all the franchises. In such a situation, if the purse value of the franchise increases then the salary of the players can also increase. Especially those players whom the franchise will retain. Apart from this, money will be showered on many players in the IPL mega auction. The record of the most expensive player sold in the IPL 2025 auction may also be broken, which was made by KKR last year when they spent Rs 24.75 crore on Mitchell Starc.
