In the 18th match of IPL 2024, Sunrisers Hyderabad faced Chennai Super Kings on Friday. This match was played at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. Sunrisers Hyderabad defeated Chennai Super Kings by 6 wickets in a thrilling match. After the defeat from Delhi, now Chennai had to face its second consecutive defeat.

Batting first, Chennai scored 165 runs. Meanwhile, Shivam Dubey played an inning of 45 runs. Facing 24 balls, he hit 4 sixes and 2 fours. Ajinkya Rahane contributed 35 runs.
