In reply, Chennai scored 145 runs for five wickets in 18.2 overs. Jadeja was obstructing fielding

Actually Jadeja was neither caught out nor bowled. But he was given out due to obstruction in fielding. However, he looked unhappy with the umpire's decision. With this, he became the third player to be out in this manner in IPL. Earlier, Yusuf Pathan and Amit Mishra were out in a similar manner. In 2013, Yousuf was dismissed against Pune Warriors India in Ranchi and in 2019, Amit Mishra was dismissed for obstructing the fielding against Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Jadeja looked unhappy with the umpire's decision

Jadeja was out on the 5th ball of the 15th over. Jadeja tried to take 2 runs on the ball of Avesh Khan. Meanwhile, Ruturaj Gaikwad standing at the opposite end did not show any interest and sent Jadeja back.
