Gary Kirsten Head Coach
PCB has appointed former South African player Gary Kirsten as head coach ahead of the ICC T20 World Cup. This is the same legendary player who made India win the ICC ODI World Cup 2011. When India won the second ODI World Cup under the captaincy of Mahendra Singh Dhoni, the head coach of the Indian team was Gary Kirsten. He has also served as the head coach of Royal Challengers Bangalore.
Apart from this, the former veteran player is working as the batting coach of Gujarat in IPL 2024. PCB has appointed former Australian fast bowler Jason Gillespie as Pakistan's head coach for red ball cricket. In such a situation, Pakistan will get a chance to play under the leadership of these two giants.
