Abhishek started playing cricket at the age of just 3 years and his father was his first coach.

Domestic Cricket Career of Abhishek Sharma

Abhishek Sharma started his cricket career playing for Punjab Under-19. He performed brilliantly in the 2015-16 Vijay Merchant Trophy. On 25 February 2017, Abhishek Sharma made his List A debut for Punjab against Vidarbha. In his first match, he scored 46 runs and took 2 wickets. After this, Abhishek made his first-class debut for Punjab against Himachal Pradesh in the Ranji Trophy 2017-18 on 6 October 2017. In which he scored 94 runs and also took one wicket.

In December 2017, he was named in the Indian squad for the 2018 Under-19 Cricket World Cup in New Zealand. Where he helped India's Under-19 team win the World Cup with his brilliant performance. Abhishek Sharma was bought by Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capitals) in the 2018 IPL auction for Rs. 55 lakh. On 12 May 2018, Abhishek Sharma made his IPL debut against Royal Challengers Bangalore and impressed everyone by scoring 46 runs in just 19 balls. However, Abhishek did not get a chance to play many matches for Delhi. After which in 2019 Sunrisers Hyderabad included Abhishek in their team. He remained associated with SRH till the 2021 IPL season and performed brilliantly.

In the 2022 IPL auction, Sunrisers Hyderabad once again got Abhishek in their camp by placing a huge bid of Rs 6.50 crore. Actually, on 20 February 2024, a model named Tanya Singh committed suicide by hanging herself in her apartment in Surat, Gujarat.
