New Zealand’s Daryl Mitchell was acquired by the five-time champions CSK for a staggering amount of Rs 14 crore during the IPL 2024 auction. Mitchell’s contract, which is worth 2 crores more than the previous Indian captain MS Dhoni’s IPL 2024 price, is a reflection of the enormous importance of International players in the prestigious tournaments.
